Sayre High School Principal Samuel Cessna was sharing the journey with the graduating seniors, as he said at the graduation that he is retiring, and also beginning a new stage in his life.
He joked with the students and said that now that he is retiring, maybe he could change his image, and he donned a blonde wig and dark sunglasses much to the amusement of the students and the audience.
Cessna said this graduation is his 10th at Sayre, and said he has sent somewhere around 800 students out into the world.
He said he has enjoyed his time because of the people he works with, the community, and especially the students, who made his job so rewarding.
He reminded the students how lucky they are to have grown up and graduated from such a great area and community.

Of the 74 graduating seniors, 39 plan on going to a four-year college; 12 plan on going to a two-year college, trade school or technical school; four plan on going into the military; 10 plan on going into the work force and seven are undecided, Cessna said.
