   Beverly Wilkerson Casstevens earned a BA in Anthropology and MA in Psychology from Georgia State University. A native of South Carolina, Beverly has lived in the Atlanta Area since 1996. Before answering God's call to ministry, she worked in behavioral and medical research as well as in consumer products and software industries. She is working toward a Master of Divinity at Candler School of Theology at Emory University, where she is the recipient of the Louisa Candler Eldredge and Georgia Harkness scholarships. Beverly is a certified candidate for ordination in the North Georgia Conference.
   
   Before joining Jonesboro First in October 2004, Beverly was Assistant Pastor of Salem UMC in Covington, GA. She has served in lay leadership positions at Salem and at Yadkinville UMC in North Carolina.
   
   Beverly has two sons, Simon and Jacob.
