   Dave is the owner and creator of SonFather Guitars. He created this company 12 years ago. He started out in his garage at home. The clientele grew and so did his business. He moved into a full shop in the fall of 1998. Since then his company has become one of the largest repair and custom shops in the area. His custom guitars usually have a year long waiting list.
   
   Dave is 53 years old, living his dream of building custom guitars and working with his family. He is a retired general building & electrical contractor. He has been a woodworker since high school. He has studied and played guitar since he was 13 years old.
   
   Dave is an experienced luthier and has been a member of the Guild of American Luthiers, the Association of Stringed Instrument Artisans, Sacramento Valley Luthier's Guild and the International Music Products Associations for many years.
