   Mark Casso is serving in a dual capacity as both Executive Director and Director of Education at Temple Shalom and brings a rich history to our new congregation.
   
   This is Mark's 32nd year as an administrator, most recently being Director of Religious Education at Kehillat Israel in Pacific Palisades where he oversaw a school of more than 600 students. Previous experiences in similar positions have included Temple Israel, Westport, CT and Temple Beth El, Swampscott, MA where he also served in the dual capacity of Executive Director/Director of Education.
   
   In addition to these positions, Mark has had extensive Informal Jewish educational experience having served in the capacity of Youth Supervisor, Youth Director, Camp Director and Board Member of several well known Jewish organizations and synagogues.
   
   Mark attended the Prozdor division of Hebrew College in Boston and earned a BA degree from Emerson College. He is a founding member of the Reconstructionist Educators of North America and along with being a member of the National Association of Temple Educators and The Jewish Educators Assembly, he is in touch with the latest developments in Jewish Education and uses his dedication and vision to translate them into continuing excellence in Jewish Education for the entire Temple Family.
