Gary E. Cassis Joins XRT-CERG as General Manager of North American Affiliate.
PARIS, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire / -- Gary Cassis has been appointed General Manager of the American subsidiary of XRT-CERG. Mr. Cassis will be based in Philadelphia and will be responsible for managing all North American operations (United States and Canada).
Gary Cassis will make use of the entire range of XRT-CERG solutions in meeting the needs of corporate finance departments throughout the American market. Banking Relationship Management, an end-to-end system for handling secure financial flows inside and outside the enterprise, represents a new approach to treasury management. Gary has extensive knowledge of the banking sector, much of which he acquired with Societe Generale, where he worked for more than 14 years. Gary held the position of first Vice-President and Head of Cash Management for the company in New York between 1986 and 1995. During his tenure, he implemented and coordinated new electronic banking services and managed the sales and marketing team for domestic banking activity in the United States. Gary was subsequently Strategy and Product Development Manager in Paris (1995 to 1997). During this period, he managed strategic planning for the creation of a new international financial service known as Banque de Flux. Later, Gary was Director head of Corporate Treasury Management Sales in the company's London office (1997 to 2000). In this capacity he created a new regional structure, developed new product ideas, and implemented a sales policy for Fortune 500 companies.
Before working for Societe Generale Gary was Vice-President Sales at Chemical Bank (1981 to 1984) and Regional Sales Manager for Banklink USA, a company subsidiary (1984 to 1986). Gary Cassis began his career in 1976 at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Bank.
Mr. Cassis, 48, holds a BA in Liberal Arts and an MA in History and Education from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a member of the American-British Chamber of Commerce.
