Dr. Cassidy is a 1984 graduate of Ferris State College of Optometry (now Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University).Upon receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors, he practiced for three years in Massachusetts at one of the largest contact lens practices in the state.He also practiced two years in Ohio, before returning to his home state of Michigan.

A firm believer in providing his patients with the information they need to make the best possible choices about their vision needs, Dr. Cassidy formed Visual Information Products in 1990.

Dr. Cassidy enjoys working with children and devotes time to going to area schools and speaking to school children about the importance of healthy eyes.He also enjoys working with athletes to improve their visual performance.
