Richard Cassidy

Richard Cassidy, Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., son of Richard Cassidy, senior medical director, was awarded $7,500 through the G. Hunter Gibbons Scholarship.The scholarship recognizes Gibbons, past chairman of the BCBSF board of directors, and is reserved for students attending the University of Florida (UF).Cassidy will attend UF to pursue a pre-medical degree.His accomplishments include vice president of the National Honor Society, Nease High School salutatorian and member of the National Hispanic Honor Society.
