Philip Cassidy, Society member and one-time Yorkshire and North East Branch committee member, has taken up a new post as general manager at Scottish Food Quality Certification in Edinburgh.
This is an organisation which provides product quality certification in the food and farming sectors to European Standard EN 45011.
Philip has moved to his new job from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside at Grimsby where he was senior lecturer in food safety and quality management. He says he will be happy to answer any queries from SOFHT members on third party accreditation and EN45011.
