   Peter has many years specialist experience in the energy industry, acting principally for major contractors, both in the UK and internationally, operating within the oil & gas, process and power sectors.
   
   He advises upon the issues that can impact projects at any stage of their lifecycle from pre-contract through to post-completion, including strategic and dispute avoidance advice during the engineering and construction process. In addition, he advises and represents clients throughout the dispute resolution process (in arbitration, litigation or through the use of alternative dispute resolution techniques) and is experienced in the vetting, drafting and negotiation of a range of contracts including EPC, EPIC, FEED, subcontracts, consultant's agreements and other associated agreements. In recent years, Peter has undertaken a significant volume of work for players in the renewable energy sector - in particular, he is advising on a number of offshore wind farm projects.
   
   Peter is a member of the procurement working group of the ACTIVE initiative, the International Bar Association, the UK Energy Lawyers Group, the LCIA and the Technology and Construction Solicitors Association. Peter also serves on the committee of the Offshore Engineering Society.
