   Percy Joseph Cassidy entered into peace on January 26 , 2001 , at Leisureworld Muskoka in Gravenhurst. He was in his 93rd year.
   
   Born in Riversdale on April 23 , 1908 , he was the son of William Cassidy and Ellen Jane Mossington of Dorset.
   
   He was the dear husband of Minerva Keall , whom he married in Bracebridge on October 1 , 1936.
   
   Percy was the loving father of Helen Parkhouse ( Robert ) and Wayne Cassidy ( Marilyn ) , and the beloved grandfather of Wayne Parkhouse and Jeff Cassidy ( Ruth ) .

   Percy lived in Dorset from the age of two until 1948. He received his schooling at Dorset Public School and Huntsville Continuation School. He later moved to Minden.
   
   During his working years , Percy was a chief ranger with Lands and Forests. He enjoyed hunting , fishing , curling and bowling. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Minden.
   
   He will be remembered as a loving husband and father. He especially loved his grandsons.
   
   The funeral service took place in the Turner Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Home in Bracebridge on January 30 , 2001 , with Rev. Michael Barnes officiating. Interment will take place at Bracebridge Municipal Cemetery.
