Kate Cassidy is the Executive Director for Youth University at Brock University.She holds a Bachelors degree from Queens University, a Masters from Brock and is currently a doctoral student in education at Brock.She has 14 years of experience in the educational field as a professional.She is from Quebec and has lived in Haliburton, Kingston and Fredericton.Brock has employed her for the past 5 years.Kate has a yellow lab named Aspen and enjoys, canoeing, kayaking, painting, camping and X-country skiing.

Ian expressed our thanks to Kate for her presentation today and made a solid connection between her work and our focus on youth programs within Rotary.

"With increasing talk about the importance of learning outside the classroom as an important complement of higher education, we are committed to acting as a 'living laboratory' for Brock students," Youth University director Kate Cassidy said.

"These programs give Brock an opportunity to extend its facilities and resources into the community and allow young people to get a taste of university life," says Kate Cassidy, Youth University Director in the Department of Community Services.
