   Dennis Cassick Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established by family and friends of Dennis Cassick, after his death in 1995. Dennis was a student at NCCC at the time of his death and believed strongly in continuing education.
   
   Amount: $500 ($250 each semester)
   
   Criteria: 1. Applicant must be a non-traditional student.

   2. Provide an additional essay on the following topic: "Dennis Cassick had a deep and abiding interest in continuing his education as a means of personal growth and fulfillment. Explain your life goals and how they might continue Dennis' legacy." 3. Submit a letter of reference from a current teacher, employer, civic or spiritual leader highlighting your qualities of leadership, integrity, and sense of personal achievement.
