   For nearly 25 years, Mr. Cassella has worked in commercial data processing, transaction analysis, business intelligence, technology security and audit controls. For most of his distinguished career he worked at Coopers & Lybrand, which became PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. Mr. Cassella retired as an Operational Systems Risk Management Partner at the Firm. He also served as a Managing Partner in the Boston office.
   
   Mr. Cassella has worked with a number of client internal audit organizations of well-known companies. These corporate brands include such institutions as Waban, Inc.; Fidelity Investments; BankBoston/Fleet; CVS; the Boston Stock Exchange; the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Cabot Corporation. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has also been on his long-time client list. For these and other clients, he has developed and managed training, planning and staff enhancement services for internal audit departments and organizations. Mr. Cassella's extensive business background provides the capability of translating the impact of security weaknesses into operational risk implications. Further, his background is rich in federal and state regulatory compliance.
   
   While a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mr. Cassella developed an organization of approximately 100 audit professionals, the single largest practice in the entire firm. Mr. Cassella's recent audit client advice and counsel has included:

   Mr. Cassella began his career as a United States Air Force officer, serving as a First Lieutenant in the Strategic Air Command (SAC). He is a published author. Mr. Cassella wrote "The Year 2000: An Odyssey of Time," for The Journal of Mutual Fund Services. He was a key contributor to the Coopers & Lybrand Handbook of IT Auditing. Mr. Cassella completed his undergraduate studies at Union College and earned a Masters in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (C.I.S.A.).
