   Yesterday Antonio Cassella, a petroleum engineer by the University of Zulia (LUZ), with a master's degree in psychology from Harvard University and a doctorate in Sciences of Education from Simón Rodríguez University presented the results of his research in the offices of the chairman of our highest university.

   "My research shows that autistic individuals may become our teachers in recovering a balanced use of our creative power," says Cassella in order to make way to his explanation.

   Cassella added that "the problem of autistics is that they keep only the cognitive component that allows us to conserve reality; they have lost the component that allows us to change or renew our vision of the world."

   According to Cassella, there exist two golden rules that explain the nature of the autistic side of the mind. The first one: An object cannot be found in two or more places at the same time.

   "They can help us recover the true meaning of the word social, the good use of our creativity, or, which is the same thing, the good use of doubt, balance, and fantasy, as it is given in works of art," points out Cassella.
   
   "Democracy is a good example of the encounter between the self and the other. In democracy one's opinion is fused with the opinion of another person within a shared control," he states.
