   Ms. Cassani is an award-winning writer who has been published in The Detroit News and Free Press' 'Michigan Magazine'; Michigan's Wayne and Oakland County Observer & Eccentric Newspapers; The Southern Texas Chronicle; Ivanhoe Medical Broadcast News; Men's Fitness Magazine; Women's Health magazine; the American Institute for Preventative Medicine; Omnigraphics' Health Reference Series; BioMed Health Series, The American Anthology of Poetry and several online venues.
   
   Ms. Cassani has a Master's Degree in Communication from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and attended Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan as an undergraduate where she received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in painting and graphics. She is currently involved in doctoral and certificate studies in public health issues and environmental medicine and holds certificates in Biowarfare weapons as well as several American Red Cross certifications in Public Health issues. She is employed as a medical editor and freelance writer. She is a member of the American Medical Writers Association, The American Association of University Women, The American Red Cross, and Women in Communications.
