Association Teams Committee and is on Fathers & Sons Rifle Association Committee. Jim became notorious for his sense of humour at Club Presentation Dinners and Prize Meeting Presentations. Whilst he was Captain he presented an off-rifle and handicap trophy, which turned out to be a framed photograph of the Captain. At the Centenary Prize Meeting, he presented "Silly Old Buggers Disease" trophies to all shooters who had an inner-4 finish 49 over the two days.
