J.P. Caspers

Andrew L. Youngquist Construction Inc. (ALY Construction) has announced that J.P. Caspers has been hired as a senior project manager.Caspers will be responsible for ALY Construction s $18 million design/build renovation of the Napa Valley Marriott in Napa, Calif.The 284-room Napa Valley Marriott is owned by San Clemente, Calif.-based Sunstone Hotel Investors.

Caspers brings more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of construction and project management to ALY Construction.His background includes the construction and renovation of high-rise buildings, hotels, airports, sports arenas and libraries.Prior to joining ALY Construction, Caspers served as a construction manager and owner s representative for Sierra Bay Construction, where he oversaw the company s $70 million renovation of the Peppermill Hotel and Casino in Reno, Nev.He was also vice president of project management for Clark and Sullivan Construction where he was responsible for The Ridge in Tahoe, as well as multiple public works projects for the cities of Reno and Carson City.

A resident of Reno, Caspers is a member of the Associated General Contractors (A.G.C.) organization.
