After Debra Caspers, MD, was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, she began gathering information about ways to help ease the side effects of chemotherapy.Dr. Caspers, a family practice physician at HealthEast Oakdale Clinic, finally took the advice of a nurse friend who suggested weekly sessions of acupuncture.

"I stayed on the standard chemotherapy treatment, but I feel acupuncture helped me glide through it smoothly," says Caspers.
