   VIRGINIA BEACH -- Maurice "Mo" LaSalle Cason of the 200 block of South Budding Ave. entered into eternal rest Jan. 31, 2003.
   
   He had been employed for 13 years at Chili's Restaurant and was a member of Union Baptist Church Virginia Beach. Mr. Cason was a 1980 graduate of Bayside High School and received various awards for outstanding service as produce manager at Chili's Restaurant.
   
   He is survived by eight sisters, Brenda Cason, Warnette Cason and Valerie Cason, all of Virginia beach, Alice Evans, Gladys Evans, both of Norfolk, Andrea Cason of Richmond, Deborah Pinckney (Walter) of Dallas, Texas, Carolyn Owens of Brooklyn, N.Y.; seven brothers, Larry Owens, Brian Cason (Brenda), Darrell Cason, Gary Cason (Charlene), Warren Owens Jr., all of Virginia Beach, Abraham Cason of Norfolk, Rudolph Mackey Jr. (Kimberly) of Owens Mill, Md.; six aunts, four uncles, 33 nieces and nephews, three special friends, Willie Palmer, Alphonso Bland and William Griggs, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Ruth P. Cason and Warren A. Owens.
   
   A celebration of life will be held Wednesday at noon in Union Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, 4608 South Blvd., by the Rev. W. Samuel Walton. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Community Funeral Home, Norfolk.
