   The company eventually hopes to market its comprehensive monitoring system to assisted-living communities so residents can be tracked from a central nursing station, said Chief Operating Officer Joseph J. Caso, Jr.
   
   But the reason to focus on wound care is clear. According to the company's research, approximately one-third of home-care patients have wounds and the annual cost of managing pressure ulcers alone is estimated at $1 billion.
   
   By lowering the cost of care, Millennium executives say they are providing a valuable service for their clients, which include hospitals offering home-care services in Florida, Illinois and Washington.
