   A veteran of software start-up companies, has 17 years experience in software development. She has extensive background in test automation and quality standards such as ISO 9000 and has lead numerous teams in the implementation of effective software quality assurance procedures.
   
   She created the Quality Assurance programs for several start-up companies, including Proxima, Essentus and Clinidata. Additionally, she developed practices to increase software stability, ensure timely release of products and the seamless functioning of the finished application.
   
   Previously to entering the technology sector she was Managing Editor at Houghton Mifflin Publishing in Boston, Massachusetts.
