   Pamela S. Caskie has been the City Manager of Alliance, Nebraska since November 2005. She previously served as the Borough Manager of Ambridge, Pennslyvania from January 2000 until September 2005, as well as the Borough Manager of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania from March 1992 until December 1996.
   
   During the interim period, Pam worked as a consultant in the areas of computerization, systems reengineering, GIS implementation and strategic planning. Prior to going to Pennsylvania, Pam served in Vermont as the Town Manager of Brandon, Vermont from September 1987 until March 1992.
   
   Pam started her career in local government as an intern with the City of Dayton, Ohio. She was also a Research Specialist for the City of Springfield, Ohio. She then worked for the University of Tennessee's Municipal Technical Advisory Service as a consultant to Tennessee cities on computerization and strategic planning.
   
   Pam has a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee.
   
   Pam is an active member of ICMA and NCMA. In 1993 she served as the Chair of the Evaluation Committee for the ICMA conference in Nashville, Tennessee. She was recognized as an ICMA Credentialed Manager in 2002.
   
   Pam is a widow and has 6 adult children (ages 22 - 26) and 3 grandchildren. Two of her sons serve in the military, one in the Navy and the other in Army.
   
   Pam has multiple hobbies ranging from computer games and crochet to photography and traveling. She enjoys cooking and hates cleaning! She particularly enjoys exploring the new region of the country where she is now living.
