Brad Caskey

This year, Ezekiel's Congregational President Brad Caskey and I have been invited to be part of a panel discussion about the role of the church council in our congregation.Represented on the panel will be three congregations of various sizes.Ezekiel Lutheran Church is one of the largest congregations of the Northwest Synod, larger than 95 percent of the 11,000 congregations nationally of the ELCA.

The purpose of the panel is to share observations about similar and contrasting ways congregations work as council and committee, and give leadership to their congregation.

I believe there are two approaches to leadership as a council member.
