   Bea began at Foothill in 1977. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz and an MS in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Francisco State University. She is a licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist. Her position at Foothill is counselor for the Adaptive Learning Division, serving students with disabilities. She teaches Orientation to College for students and Community Resources for families of disabled adults.

   Beatrix Cashmore, Counselor Bea holds an M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Francisco State University, and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Her special interest areas include LD/ADD, neuropsychology, brain injuries and psychological disabilities. Bea began her career at Foothill in 1977, then between 1982 and 1988 worked at the Anabelle Markoff School for LD, San Andreas Regional Center and Hope Counseling Center before returning to Foothill in 1988. She is a counselor for the Adaptive Learning Division and STEP. Bea's latest professional pursuits include brain imaging studies using SPECT, participating in a county-wide initiative to educate K through 12 mainstream teachers about ADHD, and teaching two Foothill courses on understanding attention deficit disorders.
