Mr. Cashman is the driving force behind ANSYS, Inc.'s "collaborative engineering" strategy, which supports the implementation of a virtual product development process.Cashman's 30 years of experience in the areas of financial, operational and sales management has brought to prominence numerous computer-aided design, product data management, transaction processing and computer-aided engineering companies.Before joining ANSYS, Inc., Mr. Cashman was Vice President for International Operations, Marketing and Software Development at PAR Technology Corporation.Prior to that role, he was a founder of Metaphase Technology, a product data management company and held management positions at Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC) in the areas of international sales, major account development and product management.Programs under his direction resulted in strong development of international markets, the formalization of major account programs, and the launching and revitalization of multiple product lines.His efforts helped make SDRC one of the premier CAD software suppliers, and resulted in his promotion to general manager of the data management business unit.
