Mr. John A. Cashin

John A. Cashin , Executive Vice President , OperationsMr. Cashin worked for Consolidated Edison of New York from 1973 to 1988.There he directed and coordinated the work operations of the company's in-house construction department relating to its natural gas and electrical distribution systems.He was also responsible for the direction of service restoration during normal and emergency conditions.In 1988 Mr. Cashin joined KeySpan Energy , formerly LILCO , the Long Island Lighting Company , where his duties also included the direction and coordination of the operation and maintenance of the electric distribution system.Mr. Cashin is a member of the National Fire Protection Association , the Fire Marshals Association of North America , the International Association of Arson Investigators , and the New York State Utility Claims Association , He received a degree in industrial engineering from the College of Staten Island.He has received specialized training at the New York State Academy of Fire Science , Suffolk County Fire Academy , and the New York Fire Investigators and Insurance Committee for Arson Control.Mr. Cashin possess a New York City Fire Department certificate for the operation of CNG fueling facilities.
