Ginger Cashin of Atlanta Urban Ministry, praised the students for their five years of enthusiastic visits to the shelter, forming relationships that "made the children feel so special and loved."

Cashin went on to say the Thursday evening visits were anticipated by the children at the shelter with the same question every Tuesday or Wednesday, "Are the teenagers coming this week?""They leave an enormous legacy of service and compassion to the Pace Community," she added.

Ginger Cashin, director of children's programs at AUM, said, "He has a dedication to the homeless children that far exceeds any other volunteer's dedication I've seen in my 17 years of working with homeless children."
