Kathleen Cashen, executive director at NASWA, came to Maher & Maher knowing that her organization needed to train key personnel in each state to support the deployment of O*NET via eLearning. As a result, O*NET Academy now provides workforce professionals the ability to get the training they need to succeed.
"This year we'll offer more than 50 live learning sessions to workforce professionals across the US, and no one will get on a plane. In fact, no one will even need to leave his or her office, saving the publicly funded workforce system travel costs and staff time," according to Cashen. -

Iowa LMI Introduces eCard!
This summer, Iowa Labor Market Information (LMI) embarked on a new venture by putting their LMI Directory into a sleek, electronic format. Introducing the eCard! This mini-disk, not much larger than a business card, fits into a computer CD-ROM drive. Also referred to as a "business card cd-r," it leads customers to information previously found in their printed version, except that information is now displayed in a colorful, Web-interactive format.
