Dr Patrick Cashell has been appointed to the EAIR executive committe.
Dr Patrick Cashell, Assistant Registrar in the Vice-President Academic & Registrar's Office at the University of Limerick, has been elected to the executive committee of the European Association for Institution Research (EAIR) and was also appointed the association's Secretary, at its recent 2004 Conference in Barcelona.
A native of east Cork, Dr Cashell is a chemistry graduate of University College Cork wherefrom he was awarded both his Bachelor's and Doctoral Degrees. He completed postgraduate educational development and management courses in Harvard University, as well as a graduate qualification in Institutional Management from Twente University in the Netherlands. Prior to his work in the Registrar's Office in UL, Dr Cashell headed up the Faculty of Science in the Institute of Technology, Sligo, during the Institute's start-up phase. -
