   Mr. Cashell is the Founder and Managing Partner of Asia Pacific Investment Partners, a privately held investment operating company founded in 2001. The firm is currently engaged in four industries in Mongolia including real estate development and management, tourism and hospitality, cashmere fashion retailing, and financial services.
   
   Formerly a Greater China economist and financial analyst based in Hong Kong, Mr. Cashell has been living and working in Asia for fourteen years and has acted as an advisor to numerous technology firms, investment funds and government agencies throughout the region. Prior to founding Asia Pacific Investment Partners he served as a private equity fund manager for JAFCO Investments Asia, one of the largest private equity groups in the Asia Pacific region with over US$3 billion under management. In addition, Mr. Cashell is an active angel investor in the region with a portfolio of four companies. He is also a founder of Zero2IPO, a technology conference organizer and venture capital facilitator focused on commercializing technologies within the Beijing academic community.
   
   Mr. Cashell is a frequent speaker on topics related to technology investments and was one of the earliest investors into the communications technologies sector in the region. He currently sits on the boards of three (3) technology and investment related companies and is an active advisor to four (4) companies in China, Hong Kong, Japan, the US, and Canada. A former investment banker in Hong Kong and Mainland China, Mr. Cashell has over nine years experience spanning corporate finance, strategic advisory, and venture capital investments.    Before founding Asia Pacific Investment Partners, Mr. Cashell was an investment officer with JAFCO Investments, a private equity fund management group. JAFCO Investments is the 100% owned subsidiary of JAFCO, Co., a listed company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and one of the largest private equity firms in the world with over 2,000 investee companies in its global portfolio. Mr Cashell was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing, and cultivating the firms investments in the Greater China region with a primary focus on technology. He was also active in other markets in the region in relation to the sourcing and evaluating of high tech and internet related investments including Israel, Korea, Singapore, Philippines, and The United States. Mr. Cashell served as JAFCOs bridge to Silicon Valley and has been active in organizing road shows and conferences in the US to increase the firms profile and capabilities in The United States.
   
   Mr. Cashell, an American citizen, graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelors degree in economics and political science and went on to receive his Masters of International Management from The American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). Whilst attending Thunderbird Mr. Cashell wrote his thesis on the topic of Emerging Market Portfolio Management with special emphasis on the Peoples Republic of China.
