   In September 1985, Kevin moved with his family from their home in Atlanta to become Associate Pastor of Calvary Church in West Hartford, Connecticut. During their six years there, he came to understand that a lot of the perceptions he held about how to "do church" didn't translate well outside his Bible Belt background. Hew surroundings called for new strategies. Over the years, Kevin became convinced of the strategic importance of relational evangelism and discipleship combines with culturally relevant style of worship. Learning from newly emerging models of church around the country, he had a growing desire to pioneer a church work that incorporated these values. In 1991, he moved back to Atlanta and later joined the staff of Buckhead Community Church, where he served as Associate Pastor until 1996. In September of that year, Kevin and a team of families planted Northwest Community Church in Marietta.
   
   Kevin and his wife, Donna, have two sons, Matt and Michael. Kevin holds a Master of Divinity from Columbia Biblical Seminary in Columbia, South Carolina.

   Kevin is the lead pastor and main teaching pastor at Northwest.
   
   Some Basic Stuff:
   
   Kevin is an Atlanta native (actually Smyrna - but that counts). He and Donna have been married since 1980 and have two sons, Matt and Michael. Both boys are students at the University of Georgia and the mom, dad and sons are all avid bulldog fans!
   
   For those who are interested in such things, Kevin is a 1978 graduate of Georgia State University (B.A.) and a 1985 graduate of Columbia Biblical Seminary and Graduate School of Missions (M.Div.).
