   Mr. Rick Casey, Conestoga College, Ontario Rick Casey, BA, MSW, B.Ed. has worked at Conestoga College since 1985. Rick has performed many roles at Conestoga subsequent to his initial hire as a counsellor in Student Services. Rick's positions with the College have included: Manager of Central Student Services; Admissions Counsellor; Conestoga's first Special Needs Co-ordinator; teaching faculty for first and second year courses in the Social Service Worker Program; Special Needs Counsellor; and most recently Special Needs Transition Counsellor with the Learning Opportunities Project. His work with students with disabilities is well recognized by colleagues at the College, in the community, and provincially. Rick was the first recipient of the KW Independent Living Centre Award 1999 for Career Development with persons with disabilities. His direct involvement with disabled and disadvantaged populations spans 23 years since his graduation with a Master of Social Work Degree from Wilfrid Lauder University, Waterloo, Ontario.
