   Regina Ann Casey has been defending physicians, hospitals and various other healthcare providers for 20 years. Prior to relocating to California in 2001, she was a litigation partner at the firm of Brault, Graham, Scott & Brault, with offices in Rockville, Maryland and Washington D.C. She worked as a senior associate with a prestigious medical malpractice defense firm in Southern California in both its Los Angeles and Orange County offices, from 2001 to 2005. She has been with Wroten & Associates since it was founded in 2006.
   
   Ms. Casey's experience includes successfully defending medical malpractice cases in various federal and circuit courts in the State of Maryland. She has also tried cases in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and the Superior Court for the District of Columbia and in Superior Court for California. She has participated in a number of arbitrations and mediations. She has represented physicians in administrative hearings in actions before the Medical Board for physicians in Maryland and at hearings to defend physicians' hospital privileges.
   
   Ms. Casey graduated first in her class of five hundred from high school in 1971. She graduated magna cum laude from Duke University earning a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in 1975. After working as a nurse at both the University of Virginia and Georgetown University Hospitals, she earned her Masters of Science in Nursing at Catholic University America in 1979 where she was a member of the Nursing Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau. She graduated with honors from the University of Maryland Law School in 1986.
   
   She was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1986; the District of Columbia Bar in 1987, and the California Bar in 2001.
