   BACK TO MUSIC DIRECTORS
   
   Nathaniel Jackson Casey became the Director of the MYSO Chamber Ensemble Program for the 2002- 2003 season. Mr. Casey brings his experience as a teacher and an avid chamber musician to this exciting MYSO program. While in High School, Nate was principal tuba in the Northern Virginia Youth Symphony (now the American Youth Philharmonic) and played with their brass chamber ensemble, the Brass of Peace.
   
   The MYSO Chamber Ensemble Program, now in its third year continues to grow in the number of Symphony Orchestra members participating, the breath and scope of musical repertoire and in the number and variety of performance opportunities afforded these young, talented musicians. Mr. Casey intends to use his "skills as a teacher, writer, and manager to help make a positive difference for others."
   
   Received his Bachelor of Music, Minor in English at Cleveland Institute of Music [Case Western Reserve]
