   Kevin Casey, president of Bear Country, said he knew someone had called the office about a moose on the loose Wednesday morning but added that the wildlife park's staff wouldn't get involved unless asked to.
   
   "No one asked us. GF&P is more qualified than me. They know what they are doing. We can't get involved," Casey said.

   Casey cautioned that although tranquilizing may have seemed like the best solution, it is not an exact science.
   
   "You see it done on TV, and the animal goes right down. What you don't see is the 10 times they shot it before it went down," he said.
   
   The moose was loaded into a trailer and taken to the GF&P offices off Soo San Drive shortly after the shooting.
