    Alyssa CasdenDirector of Development, New York City Alyssa is responsible for setting and reaching New York City fundraising goals, and identifying and cultivating new sources of funding for the local New York program.Most recently, Alyssa served on the National Development team at New Leaders for New schools as the Manager of Major Gifts and Corporate Partnerships.Alyssa has worked in grants administration and fundraising for the Jewish Community Endowment Fund and Jewish Community Federation (JCF) in San Francisco, CA. As the Associate and then Director of Young Leadership for the JCF, Alyssa managed the division's leadership programs, outreach events and fundraising activities for donors, board members, and volunteers, ages 25 - 45.During graduate school, she worked with Teach For America and DreamYard's summer A.C.T.I.O.N program - whose mission is to develop young people as effective social leaders and active civic participants through challenging artistic projects.Alyssa holds a BA with honors from Skidmore College and a Master of Public Administration degree from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University.
