Alisa Casciano, NCC
Alisa Casciano is a National Certified Counselor and is currently working towards her Licensed Professional Certification.She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Radford University in Psychology and a Masters of Education in Counselor Education with a concentration in Community Agency from North Carolina State University.Ms. Casciano worked with children ages 6-18 as a group life counselor for two years at the National Children's Rehabilitation Center.She has volunteered as an adult mentor and held informal counseling sessions for Raleigh's Capital Area Teen Court for juvenile offenders.Ms. Casciano is also a trained mediator for VOICe "Victim Offender Interpersonal Conferencing" a service for at risk youth.As an intern at 3-C Family Services, she provided individual, family and group therapy, as well as treatment for young children, children with autism, and children with low incidence disabilities.Ms. Casciano also co-facilitated social skills groups helping children to adapt to difficult social situations.Ms. Casciano is a therapist for 3-C Family Services and enjoys working with children, adults, and families.
