Cynthia Casas's professional development has been shaped by her international experiences in the corporate, government and small business sectors.Early in her career she worked for IBM in Singapore and GE Capital in London.Upon returning to the US, she spent seven years in Washington, DC working for the World Bank Group in its External Affairs/Media and Corporate Strategy departments.Since obtaining her masters in business, Casas has worked as a social enterprise consultant for start-ups like Global Giving (US), Voxiva (Peru), and Mobell (UK).Most recently she consulted with the Alaska Federation of Natives to create an entrepreneurship competition and incubator, patterned after a successful program she helped mainstream at the World Bank.Casas received her MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and her BA in international business/marketing from American University.She is fluent in Spanish and has lived in Asia, Latin America, and Europe.
