Carla M. Casas is an associate in the Orlando, Florida office of Foley & Lardner where she is a member of the Health Law Department and its Payments/Compliance Practice Group.

Ms. Casas is a 2002 honors graduate of the University of Florida College of Law.While in law school she was a member of the Health and Law Association and served as an intern in the legal department of Shands Hospital at the University of Florida.Ms. Casas was also involved with the Spanish American Law Student Association and is fluent in the Spanish language.

Ms. Casas received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in mathematics from Andrews University.While a student, she provided tutoring and mentoring to minority college students, focusing in the area of mathematics.She was also involved in various community service activities, including serving as a volunteer in both a nursing home and a shelter for battered women.

Ms. Casas is a member of the Florida Bar and the American Health Lawyer's Association.
