Ms. Mary E. Carter

Ms. Carter's practice focuses on real estate and land use.

Real EstateMs. Carter provides assistance to individuals and businesses in commercial, agricultural, and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leases, transfers, and use and access easements.

Land UseMs. Carter's practice also includes representing property owners in land use and development related actions before local governments, LUBA, and appellate courts.

EducationMs. Carter is a Salem native.She received her B.A. in Art History from Scripps College, Claremont, California, and subsequently received her J.D. from the University of Oregon, Eugene, Oregon.During law school, Ms. Carter served as Associate Editor of the Oregon Law Review, and member of the Moot Court Board and the Pro Bono Executive Board.

Civic InvolvementMs. Carter is a member of the Salem Rotary Club.She is also a member of the Salem Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee and the Salem Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals.
