"I would never say anything bad about any other park but I've seen a lot of them," Naturals pitching coach Larry Carter said."I've been in this league a long time, six years at Wichita and played in it for three years.I've seen the old homer dome in El Paso, the old ballpark in Midland [Texas ] and spent many nights in the park in Little Rock.I know how to appreciate a ballpark like this and I know the people here are excited and so am I. I take nothing for granted and this is a great facility."

Naturals pitching coach Larry Carter, who was Rosa's pitching coach last year, said the difference is that Rosa's slider has been much more effective this season.

"He used to throw a false changeup, which is a different grip, and we kind of went to more of a circle grip, which is more across the top of the seams and has a sinking effect," Carter said.
    ...
"He's never had a problem throwing the ball over the plate," Carter said.

Larry Carter only knows the can't-miss pitching prospect, the 205-pound Runelvys Hernandez. He doesn't know the 280-pounder.

"What I remember was his competitiveness," said Carter, who coached Hernandez in 2002.
    ...
"I'm going to pitch nine tonight," he'd tell Carter before each start.

The way Carter remembers it, Hernandez practically did.He was with the Royals by the end of the year and was ordained the opening-day starter in 2003.

"Right now the Democrats are the majority in this vote," UT Tyler professor, Dr. Larry Carter, said. "So Obama would likely win that."

At least 26 state delegations in the House must agree before the next President can be chosen. And while the House chooses the President, the Senate would select the Vice President. "Each Senator gets one vote," Carter said.
    ...
And because the way politics work has changed so much since then, Carter said no one can be sure what would happen now.

"That's the scary part," Carter said.
