Our holiday pops concert at the Palace drew nearly 700. (We had good fun with Beth Carroll of New Hampshire Public Television hosting that concert and Governor Lynch conducting the encore.) Our family concerts at the Capitol Center Concord and the Music Hall Portsmouth drew 800 and 500, respectively, with Laura Knoy of New Hampshire Public Radio doing a brilliant job narrating.

Renowned journalist Beth Carroll hosts the festivities.Well-known for her role as host and producer of New Hampshire Outlook on New Hampshire Public Television, she has been honored with numerous Emmy Nominations and Associated Press awards for her work.Ms. Carroll will be providing engaging commentary on the pieces performed throughout the evening.
Ms. Carroll commented on the upcoming performance from her home in Madbury, "If a holiday melody lifts your spirit like it does mine, you'll want to be there in the hall with the Philharmonic.

Beth Carroll of New Hampshire Public Television joins the Philharmonic for Holiday Pops at the Palace.The program includes such holiday classics as White Christmas, Sleigh Ride and the ever popular Christmas carol sing-along.The evening features a solo by the state's finest high-school instrumentalist (the winner of the Philharmonic's fourth annual youth concerto competition) and a planned performance by the Manchester Community Music School Youth Choir.The concert, led by Mr. Princiotti and hosted by Ms. Carroll, takes place on November 25 at the Palace Theatre Manchester.
