Richard Carri,re is responsible for spearheading the revitalization of the WordPerfect Office franchise.He oversees all aspects of product strategy and manages the overall performance of the office productivity business unit.
With over 10 years of management consulting experience prior to joining Corel, Mr. Carri,re brings significant industry knowledge and managerial rigor to his position.Before assuming his role as General Manager of Corel's Office Productivity division, Mr. Carri,re spent 4 years with McKinsey & Company and 6 years with Ernst & Young, advising high technology companies on growth and organizational issues.
Mr. Carri,re holds an MBA from The Tuck School of Business (Dartmouth College) and The London Business School, where he graduated with Distinction and as an Edward Tuck Scholar.He also holds of Bachelor of Commerce degree from HEC Montreal (University of Montreal).He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
