Leah hails from the Emerald Isle (Ireland) where she has extensive experience as a radio news journalist. After completing a Diploma in Film and TV studies Leah says she 'fell' into radio by accident but fell in love with it. She worked as a news reporter in local radio in Ireland for a number of years and also did stints presenting and producing talk shows.

She kept up her interest in film by writing movie reviews for her local paper and was even approached to work as a film reviewer for one of Ireland's national radio stations. In 2005, Leah fell in love again, this time with an Aussie boy! She followed her heart to Queensland and has continued to work in the radio industry and also spent some time working for a PR company servicing various mining giants in Central Queensland.

Leah's journalism expertise translates perfectly to working in PR. She's a pro at extracting information from clients and turning it into snappy, concise copy. Plus she's got the inside track on what's going to grab a journo's attention. Leah has an extensive background in journalism and radio.

Leah studied Film & TV and Radio Broadcasting in Ireland and has worked with various local press, radio and TV stations as a presenter, correspondent and reporter before moving to Australia. Her experiences also include writing, editing and producing.

She now lives in Sunshine Coast, QLD where she works as a journalist in local radio. Leah joined the Harmony Film Festival team as its Media Liaison Officer in 2007.
