In his free time, Zachery loved watching and playing basketball, and listening to rap music.He was a member of the usher team at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mequon.

He will be deeply missed by his treasured mother, Sharon C. (nee Doers) Carpenter; his loving siblings, Jeff Carpenter of West Bend, Monica Mueller of West Bend, Scott (Fiancé Alyson Plato) Carpenter of West Bend, and Becky Carpenter of West Bend; his maternal grandparent, Victor (Sue) Doers of Theresa; and his aunts and uncles, Vicki (Alex) Montanez of West Bend, Dotty (Dave) Broughton of Farmington, Linda (Marvin) Young of West Bend, Cindy Doers of West Bend, and Randy (Mary) Doers of McFarland.He will also be missed by his niece, Anastasia Mueller "Donut Girl;" cousins, his cousin and close friend, Jake Montanez; other special relatives and many dear friends.Zachery was welcomed into Heaven by his father, Donald O. Carpenter; his paternal grandparents, Ed and Shirley Carpenter; and his maternal grandmother, Carolyn (Pat) Doers.

A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Zachery will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church (10729 W. Freistadt Rd. 120N, Mequon), with Rev. Robert Johnson officiating.Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at church.

Interment will follow the Funeral Service on Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.The family would like to request that memorials offered in honor of Zachery are donated to the church, in lieu of flowers.

Their family was raised in the West Bend area, and Zachery graduated from Milwaukee Luth-eran High School with high honors in 2006.

He was attending the Univer-sity of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
