Carpenter, ESMTChildren's Program DirectorEpona Approved InstructorAs the owner of Sommerset Training, Xena is a horse and dog trainer with over 25 years experience and was an Apprenticeship Program Instructor, a Riding Instructor and the Barn Manager for the Epona Center for the last 4 years.During that time she created the Conscious Herd Management Program and the Journey Ride, and designed the sling that allowed Spirit (Rasa's Foal) to fly.In order to expand her own work in community with other EEL practitioners, Xena has joined the Equine Pathway team.She brings with her a unique professional background including: riding and vaulting instruction, horse camp direction, curriculum development, and coaching children.She is a certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist.As a dog Trainer Xena is committed to using positive teaching methods.
