William L. Carpenter, as Associate Attorney with the firm, specializes in the areas of estate planning, probate and estate administration, asset protection planning, Medicaid and disability planning, and elder law.Mr. Carpenter graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1974.He then earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Colorado School of Law, where he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for excellent academic achievement in estate planning.Mr. Carpenter was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 1977.He served as a Deputy District Attorney in Jefferson County and Otero County, Colorado for four years, during which time he lead in the prosecution of several high profile cases.He entered the private practice of law in 1982 and has been specializing in offering clients experienced and intelligent advice in the areas of estate planning, probate and elder law.Mr. Carpenter's wit, experience, compassion and dedication to his clients have allowed him to truly distinguish himself within the legal community.Mr. Carpenter is a member of the Colorado Bar Association.
