    Claire (B.Sc.(Hons), PGCE, PhD) has worked in the University of Glasgow since 1996.She has been a Researcher working in the field of student services.Projects include: Undergraduate Part-time Employment and The Impact on Well-being; The Challenges of Being a Mature Student; The Reasons for Delayed Post-graduate Completion; and the Evaluation of a New Entrant Programme.She has also researched staff well-being with a large study into Active Commuting.

    Research findings have directly informed strategy at institutional, divisional and service level.The recommendations that Claire has drawn from her successful research have had a significant impact on improving service delivery direct to students.

    Claire's work can be found in several Higher Education journals and she has presented at national and international conferences.
