Christopher Carney's commercial litigation on behalf of individual and corporate clients focuses on the areas of products liability, constitutional law, telecommunications, insurance and intellectual property.Chris is experienced in all aspects of litigation from case development and commencement of the action, through trial and appeal.

Chris also is heavily involved in the firm's pro bono program.Recently Chris argued before the D.C. Circuit as court-appointed amicus curiae on behalf of a pro-se appellant.He has spent several years on First Amendment litigation on behalf of groups and individuals involved in petitioning activities and in 2004 successfully defended a client facing serious criminal charges.He also tutors at a Washington, D.C., public elementary school.

Before joining the firm in 2000, Chris spent two years as an associate at a firm in New York City where he litigated in state and federal courts.
