Mr. Carlson began his career in 1981 at Casher Associates as a software consultant responsible for the creation of custom software for the banking and insurance industries.His work included claims processing, reinsurance, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems written for the American International Group (AIG), and Business Performance Management (BPM) systems for Citicorp.While at Casher he developed a $1 million per year professional services revenue stream as well as being responsible for product management for TRACS, a record management and control system and FAST-11, an integrated development product.
In 1991 he joined Pegasystems, a $100 million software and services firm, offering CRM and BPM products and strategy for the financial and healthcare markets.As a development manager, Mr. Carlson supported pre-sales efforts and implementation at such clients as Citibank, AIG, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, the Federal Reserve Bank, Bank of America and Chase.While at Pegasystems, Mr. Carlson created the highly successful PegaArchive database product line-PegaSearch, PegaIndex, and PegaReelay- developing a set of "utility" programs into a $30 million business.
In 2000, Mr. Carlson accepted the position of Vice President of Technology (CIO) for OneCore, an Application Services Provider specializing in providing financial services to small business via the Internet.As a financial portal and discount broker, OneCore's e-enabled self-service solutions include insurance, investment, bill payment, payroll, and 401(k) processing.OneCore's commercial web site is capable of supporting 30,000 customers.This comprehensive service interfaces with a number of providers and legacy systems through a unique "e-Finance Bus Architecture" designed by Mr. Carlson and his team.
In 2002, Mr. Carlson assumed responsibility for technical leadership as Senior Vice President of Engineering for ByAllAccounts, an aggregation start-up, funded by State Street Corporation.ByAllAccounts provides account aggregation for over twelve hundred financial institutions together with investment management and BPM tools for wealth management, private banking, and brokerage.
In 2003, Mr. Carlson left ByAllAccounts to apply his deep knowledge of both the financial industry, online services and aggregation technology to the problem of Earnings Data Gathering.He has implemented several patent-pending methods for data scrubbing and information cleansing as part of Wall Street Horizon's unique data management system.
Mr. Carlson holds degrees from Boston College Carroll School of Management.
